We are looking for a professional Front Desk Receptionist. You will be the “face” of the company for visitors and guests and will be responsible for providing an excellent first impression of the company. The receptionist is an entry-level position that works in a high-performance, administrative supporting role for various departments within the company.

 

The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, logical, efficient, orderly, and organized, with a keen ability to multi-task and problem-solve with minimal supervision. The Receptionist must have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to communicate professionally at all times.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve visitors and vendors by greeting, registering, and directing them appropriately
  • Maintain security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges
  • Assist with COVID-19 building entry safety requirements* 
  • Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner and route appropriately
  • Receive or schedule deliveries with various couriers: UPS, Fed Ex, USPS
  • Generate and distribute company-wide communications as necessary
  • Schedule appointments and maintain event calendars and phone lists
  • Assist with meeting and event planning and arrange catering and other amenities as needed
  • Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures and policies
  • Assist with project assembly as requested by various departments in the company
  • Assist with scheduling/delivering allocation pickups*
  • Handling/fulfillment of gift basket requests*
  • Serve as a backup to the Corporate Affairs team as needed

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma required plus one year of Administrative or Receptionist experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm minimum
